Transformacije

The process of freeing oneself from impulsive, self-reflective tendencies that prevent the individual from seeing his being within (outside of) the collective is shown in the book on several levels. The visuals are dominated by abstract images created by digital manipulation of photographs with concrete objects. The text that accompanies the visuals is a selection of excerpts from the books "Sealed Time" (Andrei Tarkovsky), "A Brief Review of Disintegration" (Emile Cioran), and "Pact of Lucidity or the Intelligence of Evil" (Jean Baudrillard), as well as excerpts from personal manuscript. The concept of writing is based on the transformation of a narrative text into a poetic form.

Earth, water, and air, as a prerequisite for natural transformation, are part of the suggested tactile impression, but they also visually connect to playing with abstract digital forms, building a new version of the image over and over again, with each flip. The contrast between the natural and the artificial/digital calls for a rethinking of the (non)dangerous use of digital tools and a redefinition of Benjamin's aura.

From the individual to the collective, from the concrete to the abstract, from the natural to the artificial (digital media, artificial intelligence, the Intelligence of Evil) or from the artificial to the natural, from the narrative to the poetic, from the material to the spiritual, form a path of transformation or transformations and provide a temporary departure from self-love.
